Object Information:  The Great Orion Nebula is well known to all who participate in the study of Astronomy.  Recognized as one of the premier objects in the entire sky, it is likely the most observed and photographed.  Even now, its explosions and waterfall-like cascades of dust and gasses are collapsing and coalescing under the force of gravity providing a stellar nursery where new worlds may form.
